Thirty years ago, Dorothy Fadiman produced the Oscar nominated film, “When Abortion was Illegal”. It was aired on PBS nationwide in 1994 and people were encouraged to invite friends and colleagues to their homes to watch the film on PBS and then have a discussion about efforts to keep abortion legal. None of us had any idea that the need would be so great again today. Now with abortion illegal in so many states, we need to organize voters to support legal abortion.
